1 cup bread crumbs or Stove Top stuffing
1 large egg
½ cup ketchup (plus extra for topping)

Step 1: Preheat Oven
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a loaf pan or line it with parchment paper.
Step 2: Mix Meatloaf
In a large bowl, combine ground beef, bread crumbs (or stuffing), egg, and ½ cup ketchup. Mix until just combined — don’t overmix to keep it tender.
Step 3: Shape & Glaze
Form mixture into a loaf shape and place in prepared pan. Spread a thin layer of extra ketchup on top for a glossy glaze.
Step 4: Bake
Bake for 45–55 minutes, until the internal temperature reaches 160°F (71°C). Let rest 5–10 minutes before slicing.
Notes
- No Bread Version: Replace bread crumbs with oats or crushed crackers.
- Extra Flavor: Add a pinch of garlic powder, onion powder, or Worcestershire sauce.
