Step 1: Prepare the Crust

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).

  2. Mix chocolate cookie crumbs, melted butter, and sugar until combined.

  3. Press mixture into a 9-inch tart pan evenly.

  4. Bake 8–10 minutes. Cool completely.

Step 2: Make the Pumpkin Filling

  1. In a bowl, whisk together pumpkin puree, brown sugar, eggs, salt, cinnamon, nutmeg, ginger, and vanilla.

  2. Stir in heavy cream and melted dark chocolate until smooth.

  3. Pour filling into cooled crust and smooth top.

Step 3: Bake the Tart

  1. Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 30–35 minutes, until the center is set but slightly jiggly.

  2. Let cool to room temperature, then chill for at least 2 hours.

Step 4: Prepare the Ganache

  1. Heat heavy cream until simmering.
