Step 2: Prepare the Dough

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line baking sheets with parchment paper.

  • In a bowl, whisk flour, baking soda, and salt.

  • In a large bowl, mix browned butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until smooth. Beat in eggs one at a time, then add vanilla.

  • Gradually fold in dry ingredients until just combined. Stir in chocolate chips (and optional toffee or nuts).

Step 3: Bake Cookies
