For the Burger Meat:

1 lb lean ground beef (or ground turkey)
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon onion powder
½ teaspoon smoked paprika
Salt and black pepper, to taste

Base Options (Choose One):

2 cups cooked white or brown rice (burger bowl with rice)
2 cups roasted potatoes (burger bowl with potatoes)
2 cups roasted sweet potato cubes (burger bowl with sweet potato)
OR 4 cups chopped romaine/iceberg for a low-carb option

Toppings:

1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved
1 cup shredded lettuce
½ red onion, thinly sliced
1 cup pickles, sliced
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
1 avocado, sliced (optional)
Sesame seeds (optional garnish)


For the Burger Bowl Sauce:

½ cup Greek yogurt or mayonnaise
2 tablespoons ketchup
1 tablespoon mustard
1 tablespoon pickle juice
½ teaspoon garlic powder
½ teaspoon paprika


Instructions

Step 1: Prepare the Base

If making a burger bowl with rice, cook rice according to package instructions.
For burger bowl with potatoes or burger bowl recipe with sweet potatoes, toss cubed potatoes or sweet potatoes with olive oil, salt, and pepper. Roast at 400°F (200°C) for 25–30 minutes until golden and tender.

Step 2: Cook the Burger Meat

Heat a skillet over medium heat. Add ground beef and break apart with a spatula.
Season with garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
Cook 7–8 minutes until browned and fully cooked. Drain excess grease if needed.

Step 3: Make the Burger Bowl Sauce

In a small bowl, whisk together Greek yogurt (or mayo), ketchup, mustard, pickle juice, garlic powder, and paprika until smooth. Refrigerate until ready to use.

Step 4: Assemble the Bowls

Divide your base among four bowls.
Top with seasoned beef, lettuce, tomatoes, red onion, pickles, cheese, and avocado.
