12 oz rotini or bowtie pasta
1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved

1 avocado, diced
½ cup shredded carrots
½ cup black olives, sliced (optional)
½ cup feta cheese or mozzarella pearls
¼ cup fresh parsley or cilantro, chopped
For the California Pasta Salad Dressing:
⅓ cup olive oil
3 tablespoons red wine vinegar
1 tablespoon lemon juice
1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
1 teaspoon honey
1 clove garlic, minced
½ teaspoon salt
¼ teaspoon black pepper

Step 1: Cook the Pasta
Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Cook pasta according to package directions until al dente. Drain and rinse under cold water to cool completely.

Step 3: Make the Dressing
