Ingredients

Scale

🛒 Ingredients (makes 6–8 roll ups):

For the Roll Ups:

  • 46 large flour or low-carb tortillas
  • 1 ½ cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1216 slices of pepperoni
  • ½ cup pizza sauce, plus extra for dipping
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder (optional)
  • ½ teaspoon dried Italian herbs (optional)
  • Cooking spray or a small amount of oil for frying

Optional Toppings:

  •  Grated Parmesan cheese
  • Red pepper flakes
  • Fresh basil for garnish

Instructions

📝 Instructions:
Step 1: Prepare Tortillas
Lay tortillas flat. Spread a thin layer of pizza sauce over each one, leaving about ½ inch around the edges. Sprinkle garlic powder and Italian herbs if using.

Step 2: Add Cheese and Pepperoni
Evenly distribute mozzarella cheese over the tortillas, then layer pepperoni slices on top.

Step 3: Roll Up
Starting from one edge, tightly roll each tortilla into a log. Secure with a toothpick if needed.

Step 4: Cook
Oven Method: Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Place roll ups seam-side down on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Bake for 12–15 minutes or until cheese is melted and edges are golden.
Frying Pan Method: Heat a small amount of oil in a skillet over medium heat. Place roll ups seam-side down and cook, turning occasionally, until golden brown and cheese is melted, about 6–8 minutes.

Step 5: Serve
Slice into bite-sized pieces if desired. Serve warm with extra pizza sauce for dipping.

Notes

  • Make Ahead: Assemble roll ups and refrigerate for up to 24 hours before cooking.
