1 box chocolate cake mix (15 oz)

1 cup crushed Oreo cookies (about 10–12 cookies)

Preheat Oven: Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
Cherry Layer: Spread cherry pie filling evenly in the dish.
Cake Layer: Sprinkle dry chocolate cake mix evenly over the cherries. Do not stir.
Top with Butter & Oreos: Drizzle melted butter over the cake mix and sprinkle crushed Oreos evenly on top.
Bake: Bake uncovered for 40–45 minutes, until the topping is set and the filling is bubbly.
Cool & Serve: Let cool 10–15 minutes. Serve warm with whipped cream or ice cream.
Notes
- For extra richness, drizzle chocolate or fudge sauce over the top before serving.
- Golden Oreos can be used for a vanilla-cherry version.
