Instructions
📝 Instructions:
Step 1: Prepare Cherry Mixture
In a small saucepan over medium heat, combine cherries, sugar, and lemon juice. Cook for 5–7 minutes until cherries soften and release juice. Stir in cherry liqueur, then let cool to room temperature.
Step 2: Make Mascarpone Cream
In a large bowl, whip heavy cream until soft peaks form. In another bowl, mix mascarpone, sugar, and vanilla until smooth. Gently fold whipped cream into mascarpone mixture until fully combined.
Step 3: Soak Ladyfingers
Quickly dip each ladyfinger into cherry liqueur or syrup, making sure they absorb flavor but don’t become soggy.
Step 4: Assemble Tiramisu
In a serving dish, layer half of the soaked ladyfingers. Spread half of the mascarpone cream over them. Spoon half of the cherry mixture on top. Repeat layers with remaining ladyfingers, cream, and cherries.
Step 5: Chill and Garnish
Cover and refrigerate for at least 4 hours, preferably overnight. Before serving, dust with cocoa powder, sprinkle chocolate shavings, and garnish with amarena cherries.
Notes
- Non-Alcoholic Version: Replace cherry liqueur with cherry juice or syrup.
- Make Ahead: Tiramisu improves in flavor if chilled overnight.
- Individual Servings: Use small glasses or jars for personal portions.
- Texture Tip: Avoid over-soaking ladyfingers to keep layers distinct.
