Instructions
📝 Instructions:
Step 1: Preheat & Prepare Pans
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a 9-inch round cake pan.
Step 2: Mix Dry Ingredients
In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. Set aside.
Step 3: Cream Butter, Oil & Sugar
In a large bowl, beat butter, oil, and sugar until light and fluffy. Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each. Stir in vanilla extract.
Step 4: Combine Wet & Dry Ingredients
Add mashed bananas to the butter mixture. Gradually mix in dry ingredients alternately with milk until smooth and well combined.
Step 5: Bake Cake
Pour batter into the prepared pan. Bake 40–45 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean. Let the cake cool completely in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack.
Step 6: Frosting (Optional)
Beat cream cheese and butter until smooth. Add powdered sugar and vanilla, mixing until creamy. Adjust consistency with milk if needed. Spread frosting evenly over the cooled cake.
