1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1/4 teaspoon salt

Step 1: Prepare Batter
Preheat oven to 350°F (180°C). Grease a loaf pan or line with parchment paper.
Mash the bananas in a large bowl until smooth. Mix in sugar, oil, and vanilla extract.
Step 2: Combine Dry Ingredients
In a separate bowl, whisk gluten-free flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
Step 3: Mix Wet and Dry
Fold dry ingredients into the banana mixture until just combined. Do not overmix. Add nuts or chocolate chips if desired.
Step 4: Bake
Pour batter into the prepared pan and bake 45–55 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean. Cool for 10 minutes in the pan, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
