Scale

🛒 Ingredients (serves 2–3):

For the Salmon:

2 salmon fillets (skin on or off)
1 tablespoon soy sauce
1 tablespoon gochujang (Korean chili paste)
1 tablespoon honey or maple syrup
1 teaspoon sesame oil
1 teaspoon minced garlic
½ teaspoon grated ginger

For the Noodles:

200 g rice noodles, egg noodles, or udon
1 tablespoon vegetable oil
1 cup bell peppers, sliced
1 cup broccoli florets or snap peas
1 carrot, julienned
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 tablespoon soy sauce
1 tablespoon gochujang
1 teaspoon rice vinegar
1 teaspoon sesame oil

For Garnish:

Sliced green onions
Sesame seeds
Lime wedges (optional)

Instructions

📝 Instructions:
Step 1: Marinate and Cook Salmon
In a small bowl, mix gochujang, soy sauce, honey, sesame oil, garlic, and ginger. Coat the salmon with the mixture and let it marinate for 10–15 minutes.
Heat a pan over medium heat and cook the salmon for 3–4 minutes per side, until caramelized and cooked through. Set aside.

Step 2: Cook Noodles
Prepare noodles according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.

Step 3: Stir-Fry Vegetables
Heat oil in a large pan or wok. Add garlic and sauté for 30 seconds. Add bell peppers, broccoli, and carrots. Stir-fry for 3–4 minutes until slightly tender but still crisp.

Step 4: Combine
Add cooked noodles to the pan. Stir in soy sauce, gochujang, rice vinegar, and sesame oil. Toss everything together until evenly coated and heated through.

Step 5: Assemble
Place noodles in bowls and top with cooked salmon. Garnish with green onions, sesame seeds, and a squeeze of lime if desired.

Notes

  • Adjust spice level by adding more or less gochujang or a drizzle of honey to balance heat.
  • Swap salmon with prawns, tofu, or chicken for variety.
  • Use kimchi as an extra topping for a deeper Korean flavor twist.
  • For a creamy version, stir in a tablespoon of mayonnaise or cream to the sauce.
