Gradually mix in dry ingredients alternately with brewed coffee until fully combined.

Step 2: Prepare Frosting
In a bowl, beat frosting until smooth.
Add powdered sugar, vanilla, and coffee, adjusting consistency with more coffee if needed.
Step 3: Assemble Cake
If using layers, level cakes with a knife or cake leveler.
Spread frosting between layers, then coat the outside with a thin crumb coat. Chill 15–20 minutes.
Apply final frosting layer and smooth.
