Ingredients

For the Chocolate Layer:
1 ½ cups semi-sweet or milk chocolate chips
1 tablespoon coconut oil or butter (optional, for smoother melting)

For the Peanut Butter Filling:
¾ cup creamy peanut butter
¼ cup powdered sugar
½ teaspoon vanilla extract
Pinch of salt (optional)

Optional Toppings:
Sea salt flakes
Mini chocolate chips
Crushed peanuts


Instructions

Step 1: Prepare Pan
Line a muffin tin with paper liners.

Step 2: Melt Chocolate
In a microwave-safe bowl, melt chocolate chips and coconut oil in 20–30 second intervals, stirring in between, until smooth.

Step 3: Layer Chocolate
Spoon about 1 teaspoon of melted chocolate into each liner. Spread slightly and chill for 5–10 minutes until firm.

Step 4: Prepare Peanut Butter Filling
Mix peanut butter, powdered sugar, vanilla extract, and salt until smooth.

Step 5: Add Peanut Butter
Spoon about 1 teaspoon of peanut butter mixture on top of the chilled chocolate layer. Press gently to flatten.

Step 6: Top with Chocolate
Cover peanut butter with another teaspoon of melted chocolate, spreading to cover completely. Chill in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes until firm.

Step 7: Decorate
Optional: Sprinkle sea salt, mini chocolate chips, or crushed peanuts on top before chocolate sets.
