For the Shrimp:

  • 1 lb (450g) large shrimp, peeled and deveined

  • 2 tsp paprika

  • 1 tsp garlic powder

  • 1 tsp onion powder

  • ½ tsp cayenne pepper (adjust for spice level)

  • ½ tsp salt

  • ½ tsp black pepper

  • 2 tbsp olive oil

  • 2 tbsp hot honey

For the Salad:

  • 6 cups romaine lettuce, chopped

  • ½ cup croutons

  • ¼ cup shaved or grated Parmesan cheese

  • Optional: cherry tomatoes or avocado slices

For the Caesar Dressing:

  • ½ cup mayonnaise

  • 2 tbsp grated Parmesan cheese

  • 1 tbsp lemon juice

  • 1 tsp Dijon mustard

  • 1 garlic clove, minced

  • 23 anchovy fillets, mashed (optional)

  • 23 tbsp olive oil

  • Salt & pepper to taste

Step 1: Prepare the Caesar Dressing

  1. In a small bowl, whisk together mayonnaise, Parmesan, lemon juice, Dijon, garlic, and mashed anchovies.

  2. Slowly drizzle in olive oil while whisking until creamy.

  3. Season with salt and pepper. Set aside.

Step 2: Blacken the Shrimp

  1. In a bowl, toss shrimp with paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, cayenne, salt, and black pepper.

  2. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.

  3. Cook shrimp 2–3 minutes per side until opaque and blackened.

  4. Drizzle with hot honey and toss to coat.

Step 3: Assemble the Salad

  1. In a large bowl, toss chopped romaine with Caesar dressing.

  2. Plate the salad, top with blackened shrimp, croutons, and shaved Parmesan.

  3. Optional: drizzle extra hot honey on top for more sweetness and heat.
