Instructions

Melt butter in a microwave-safe bowl in 20-second intervals, stirring until fully melted
Add dark chocolate chips to the melted butter and stir over low heat until smooth
Cool mixture to 85°F (29°C) using an ice water bath if needed
Whisk cocoa powder, brown sugar, and granulated sugar into the melted fat mixture for 30 seconds to create a crackled surface
In a separate bowl, mix flour, salt, and baking powder until well combined
Gradually add dry ingredients to the fat mixture, stirring until just incorporated
