Instructions

📝 Instructions:

Step 1: Preheat Oven
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking pan.

Step 2: Cook Beef Mixture
In a large skillet over medium heat, cook ground beef until browned. Drain excess fat.
Add onion and garlic, cooking 2–3 minutes until softened.
Stir in salt, pepper, paprika, Worcestershire sauce, and optional vegetables. Cook another 2 minutes. Remove from heat.

Step 3: Assemble Pie

  • Bisquick Topping: Mix Bisquick, milk, and egg until smooth. Spread evenly over beef mixture.

  • Pie Crust: Roll out and place pie crust over beef mixture; trim edges.

  • Puff Pastry: Lay puff pastry over beef, tucking edges; cut small slits for steam.

  • Crustless: Simply sprinkle shredded cheddar evenly on top.

Step 4: Bake
Bake for 25–30 minutes (Bisquick or cheese topping) or 35–40 minutes (pie crust/puff pastry) until golden brown and cooked through.

Step 5: Serve
Let cool for 5–10 minutes. Slice and serve with optional pickles, ketchup, or mustard.

Notes

  • Soggy Filling Fix: Drain excess beef grease and sauté veggies first.
  • Make Ahead: Assemble in advance and refrigerate up to 24 hours before baking.
  • Mini Version: Use a muffin tin for individual cheeseburger pies.
