  • 23 tablespoons milk (to adjust consistency)

For the Graveyard Topping:

  • 1520 Oreo cookies, crushed (for “dirt”)

  • Edible tombstone decorations or homemade tombstones from fondant

  • Gummy worms or Halloween candies for accents

Step 1: Bake Pumpkin Cake

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a 9-inch round pan.

  2. In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, cinnamon, nutmeg, and ginger.

  3. In a large bowl, cream butter and sugars until fluffy. Beat in eggs one at a time, then stir in pumpkin puree and vanilla.

  4. Gradually mix in dry ingredients until smooth.

  5. Pour batter into prepared pan and bake for 30–35 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean. Cool completely.

Step 2: Prepare Frosting
