Instructions
📝 Instructions:
Step 1: Preheat Oven
Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Line baking sheets with parchment paper.
Step 2: Make Cookie Dough
In a medium bowl, whisk flour, baking soda, and salt.
In a large bowl, cream butter, peanut butter, and both sugars until fluffy. Beat in egg and vanilla. Gradually add dry ingredients until combined.
Step 3: Shape Cookies
Roll dough into 1-inch balls. Optionally, roll in extra sugar. Place on prepared baking sheets about 2 inches apart.
Step 4: Bake
Bake for 8–10 minutes, until edges are lightly golden. Remove from oven and immediately press a chocolate candy in the center of each cookie. Let cookies cool slightly before transferring to wire racks to cool completely.
Notes
- Chewy Cookies: Don’t overbake; centers should be soft.
- Flavor Twist: Use dark chocolate or peanut butter cups instead of Kisses.
