Step 1: Preheat & Prep
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a 9×5-inch loaf pan.

Step 2: Mix Dry Ingredients
In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, baking powder, salt, cinnamon, nutmeg, and ginger.

Step 3: Cream Butter & Sugar
In a large bowl, cream together butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until light and fluffy. Beat in eggs one at a time, then stir in vanilla extract and pumpkin puree.

Step 4: Combine & Fold in Apples
Gradually mix in the dry ingredients until just combined. Fold in diced apples gently.

Step 5: Optional Crumb Topping
If using, combine topping ingredients in a small bowl and sprinkle evenly over the batter.

Step 6: Bake
Pour batter into prepared pan. Bake 55–65 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean. Cool in pan 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
