Step 1: Preheat Oven
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking pan.
Step 2: Layer Ingredients
Spread pumpkin puree evenly on the bottom of the pan. Sprinkle protein powder over the pumpkin. Pour cake mix evenly on top. Drizzle melted butter over the cake mix. Optionally, add pumpkin pie spice or nuts/chocolate chips at this stage.
Step 3: Bake Cake
Bake for 35–40 minutes, until the top is golden and a toothpick inserted comes out clean. Let cool slightly before serving.
Step 4: Serve
Slice and serve warm or at room temperature. Top with whipped cream or Greek yogurt and a sprinkle of cinnamon or nutmeg, if desired.
