Step 1: Cook the Rice

Combine rice, water (or broth), and salt in a pot. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat, cover, and simmer 15–20 minutes until rice is tender. Fluff with a fork.
Step 2: Cook the Shrimp
Heat oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
Add garlic, cook 30 seconds until fragrant.
Add shrimp, season with paprika, salt, and pepper.
Cook 2–3 minutes per side until shrimp turn pink and opaque.
Step 3: Prepare Spicy Mayo (Optional)
Whisk together mayonnaise, sriracha, and lime juice in a small bowl. Adjust spice level to taste.

Divide rice between bowls.
