Scale

🛒 Ingredients (Makes 12–14 slime-stuffed cookies)

  • 2 ½ cups all-purpose flour

  • 1 teaspoon baking soda

  • ½ teaspoon salt

  • 1 cup (2 sticks) unsalted butter, softened

  • ½ cup brown sugar

  • 2 large eggs

  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract

  • Optional: black, orange, or purple food coloring for Halloween colors

  • Food coloring: neon green, purple, or red

Optional Decorations:

  • Halloween sprinkles

  • Candy eyeballs

  • Black sanding sugar

  • Lollipop sticks (for “cookies on a stick”)

Instructions

📝 Instructions

Step 1: Make the Slime Filling

  1. In a microwave-safe bowl, melt white chocolate and heavy cream in 20–25 second intervals.

  2. Stir in cornstarch until smooth and stretchy.

  3. Add food coloring until bright and spooky.

  4. Chill mixture for 10–15 minutes until thick enough to scoop.

Step 2: Prepare the Cookie Dough

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment.

  2. Whisk flour, baking soda, and salt in a bowl.

  3. In a separate bowl, cream butter and sugars until fluffy.

  4. Beat in eggs one at a time, then add vanilla.

  5. Add dry ingredients to the wet mixture and mix until just combined.

  6. If desired, tint dough with Halloween colors (black, orange, green).

Step 3: Stuff the Cookies

  1. Scoop 1–2 tablespoons of cookie dough into your hand and flatten.

  2. Add a teaspoon of chilled slime filling to the center.

  3. Cover with more dough and seal the edges completely.

  4. Optional: Roll tops in Halloween sprinkles or black sugar.

Step 4: Bake

  1. Place cookies on the sheet, leaving space to spread.

  2. Bake 10–12 minutes, until edges are set but centers are still soft.

  3. Cool for at least 10 minutes—slime will be oozy inside!

Step 5: Decorate (Optional)

  • Add candy eyes for ghost or monster cookies.

  • Dip tops in melted chocolate for brimstone or witches’ brew themes.

  • Insert lollipop sticks before baking to create cookie pops.

Notes

  • Slime Texture Tip: Add a little more cornstarch for stretchier, “slime-like” filling.

  • Color Variations:

    • Green → witches’ brew

    • Purple → Hocus Pocus cookies

    • Red & black → spooky crinkle slime cookies

  • Make Ahead: Dough and slime can be prepped 24 hours in advance.

  • Giant Version: Use ¼ cup dough for giant “slime cookies” like popular YouTube and French creators.
