½ teaspoon white pepper
1 cup baby bok choy or spinach (optional)
2 green onions, sliced (for garnish)

Step 1: Prepare the Wonton Filling
In a mixing bowl, combine ground pork (or chicken), green onions, garlic, ginger, soy sauce, sesame oil, salt, and white pepper. Mix until well combined.
Step 2: Assemble the Wontons
Place a wonton wrapper on a clean surface.
Add about 1 teaspoon of filling to the center.
Moisten the edges with water, fold into a triangle, and press to seal.
Bring the two bottom corners together and press gently to form the traditional wonton shape. Repeat with remaining wrappers.
Step 3: Prepare the Broth
In a large pot, bring chicken broth to a gentle simmer.
Add soy sauce, sesame oil, ginger slices, garlic, and white pepper.
Let simmer for about 5 minutes to develop flavor.
Step 4: Cook the Wontons
Carefully add the wontons to the simmering broth.
Cook for about 4–5 minutes, or until they float and the filling is cooked through.
Step 5: Add Vegetables & Serve
Add bok choy or spinach and cook for another minute.
Ladle soup into bowls and garnish with sliced green onions. Serve hot.
