8 oz cream cheese
1 cup shredded cheese (Colby Jack or Cheddar)
6 jalapeno peppers
1/2 tsp smoked paprika (optional for smokiness)
1/4 tsp garlic powder
1/4 tsp cayenne pepper
Baking powder (as needed)
Flour (for dredging)
Instructions
Preheat air fryer to 375°F (190°C) for 5 minutes.
Wash and pat dry jalapenos.
Cut peppers in half lengthwise; remove membranes and seeds.
In a bowl, mix cream cheese, shredded cheese, smoked paprika, garlic powder, and cayenne pepper until smooth.
Stuff each pepper half with the cheese mixture.
Lightly coat the stuffed peppers with flour.
Place in air fryer basket and cook for 11-12 minutes, until golden and crispy.
Notes
For extra crunch, dip peppers in flour and baking powder mixture before cooking.
Substitute jalapenos with mild peppers for less heat.
Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
