Ingredients
2 3/4 cups butter, divided
6 large Granny Smith or Honeycrisp apples, peeled and sliced
4 cups all-purpose flour
1 3/4 cups brown sugar
1 cup pecans, finely chopped
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1/2 cup granulated sugar
1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
Instructions
Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit and line a 9-by-13-inch pan with parchment paper.
Beat 2 cups softened butter, 1/2 cup granulated sugar, and 1/4 cup brown sugar until fluffy.
Add 2 1/2 cups flour and salt, mixing until a soft dough forms.
