Ingredients
1 cup all-purpose flour
3/4 cup cane sugar plus extra
1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
1/2 teaspoon sea salt
1 cup milk
4 tablespoons unsalted butter melted
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
2 cups blackberries
Vanilla ice cream for serving
Instructions
Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C)
Whisk flour, 3/4 cup sugar, baking powder, and salt in a bowl
Stir in melted butter, milk, and vanilla extract until smooth
Pour half the batter into a greased 9×13-inch baking dish
Arrange blackberries over the batter
