Ingredients
1 ¾ cups warm water (110°F)
¼ cup vegetable oil
2 tbsp granulated sugar
3 cups flour
1 tsp salt
1 package (2 tsp) instant yeast
Instructions
Measure warm water (110°F). Add oil and sugar to the bread pan.
Layer 3 cups flour into pan followed by 1 tsp salt.
Pinch the yeast into the dry ingredients to avoid direct water contact.
Place pan in machine with flapper door open.
Select Basic cycle, Light Crust, and 2 lb loaf settings.
Close pan lid and start the machine.
After baking, immediately transfer loaf to a cooling rack.
Wait 1 hour before slicing.
Notes
Use room temperature water for consistent rising.
Substitute bread flour for a chewier crust.
Adjust sugar to taste (up to 4 tbsp for extra sweetness).
