Ingredients
Ground turkey (1 pound) or chicken/plant-based crumble
Maple syrup (2 tbsp)
Kosher salt (1 tsp)
Dried sage (1/2 tsp) or poultry seasoning
Dried marjoram (1/2 tsp) or oregano
Black pepper (1/2 tsp)
Ground nutmeg (1/4 tsp optional)
Red pepper flakes (1/4 tsp)
Extra virgin olive oil (1 tbsp) or avocado oil
Instructions
In a large bowl, combine turkey and maple syrup with hands
Stir in salt, then add sage, marjoram, pepper, nutmeg (if using), and pepper flakes
Mix for 20-30 seconds until fully incorporated
Wet fingers with oil, use a cookie scoop to measure mixture
Roll into 12 uniform balls with palms
Heat oil in a non-stick pan
Add 6 patties, flatten slightly; cook 3-4 minutes per side
Repeat with remaining patties
