Ingredients
2 and 1/4 cups (281g) all-purpose flour
1 and 1/2 teaspoons cornstarch
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
4 ounces (113g) cream cheese, softened
3/4 cup (170g) unsalted butter, softened
1/2 cup (100g) granulated sugar
1/2 cup (100g) brown sugar, packed
1 large egg, room temperature
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
1 cup (180g) white chocolate chips
Instructions
Preheat oven to 350°F (180°C)
Beat cream cheese and butter until smooth
Add granulated and brown sugars; mix until combined
Add egg and vanilla extract; mix well
In a separate bowl, whisk flour, cornstarch, baking soda, and salt
Gradually add dry ingredients to wet mixture
Fold in white chocolate chips
Chill dough for 30 minutes
Scoop dough (about 2 tablespoons each) onto baking sheets
Bake 12–13 minutes or until edges are golden
Notes
Chilling the dough improves texture and shaping
Swap 20% of flour with almond flour for a grain-free version
Store in airtight container for up to 5 days
