Description
Flaky dough filled with creamy garlic, shrimp, and parmesan sauces, baked to golden perfection. Quick enough for weeknights yet elegant enough to impress. Gluten-free optional for dietary needs.
Ingredients
1 lb peeled and deveined shrimp
2 tbsp butter
4 cloves minced garlic
1 cup heavy cream (or coconut cream)
1 cup + 2 tbsp grated parmesan
1 can refrigerated dough (gluten-free option available)
Instructions
Melt butter in a skillet over medium heat. Add garlic and sauté until fragrant.
Add shrimp and cook until opaque (5-6 minutes). Transfer to a bowl and let cool.
Pour heavy cream into the skillet, scraping pan residue. Add 1 cup parmesan, Italian seasoning, and paprika. Simmer until thickened (3-4 minutes). Mix in parsley and remove from heat.
Roll out dough on a baking sheet 4-5 sheets apart. Cut into rectangles. Brush butter between rows to create flaky edges.
Divide shrimp mixture into dough pieces. Fold to enclose filling, sealing with a fork. Brush with remaining butter and top with parmesan.
Bake at 375°F (190°C) for 18 minutes until golden. Cool slightly before serving.
Notes
