Ingredients
1 sheet gluten-free puff pastry (thawed)
2 large Granny Smith apples (thinly sliced)
1/2 cup salted butter (softened)
2 tablespoons honey
1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon apple pie spice
1/2 cup pecans (crushed)
6 tablespoons caramel sauce
Instructions
Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper.
Cut the thawed gluten-free puff pastry sheet into 6 equal rectangles.
Cream together the softened butter, honey, cinnamon, and apple pie spice in a bowl.
Spread one tablespoon of the butter mixture over the center of each pastry rectangle.
Arrange thin apple slices evenly on top of the buttered pastry segments.
Bake for 30 minutes, or until the pastry is golden and puffed.
Remove from the oven, sprinkle with crushed pecans, and drizzle with caramel sauce before serving.
Notes
Ensure the pastry is fully thawed to prevent cracking during shaping. Use a high-quality, alcohol-free caramel sauce. Store leftovers in an airtight container at room temperature for up to two days, though best served warm.
