Ingredients
Boneless skinless chicken breasts 4 (2-inch thickness preferred)
Olive oil 2 Tbsp (virgin olive oil preferred)
Smoked paprika 1 tsp
Garlic powder 1 tsp
Mexican oregano 1 tsp
Unsalted butter 4 Tbsp (1/2 stick)
Pepperoncini peppers 3 cloves (sliced, not pickled)
Salt 1 tsp (adjust to taste)
Instructions
Pat dry 4 chicken breasts to maximize char
Drizzle 2 Tbsp olive oil for lubrication
Rub 1 tsp smoked paprika for crispy crust
Brush garlic powder evenly over chicken
Finish with 1 tsp aged oregano
Season generously with 1 tsp salt
Prepare garlic butter: Melt 4 Tbsp butter with pepperoncini slices
Grill 7 minutes per side over medium heat
Brush melted garlic butter on both sides during final 2 minutes
Rest 5 minutes before slicing
