Garlic 3 cloves
Ginger 1 tablespoon chopped or ½ teaspoon ground
Ketchup 2 tablespoons
Sesame oil 1 tablespoon
Ground black pepper 1 teaspoon
Sliced green onions 2 tablespoons (for garnish)
Sesame seeds 1 tablespoon (for garnish)
Instructions

Marinate the Chicken: Submerge chicken fully in marinade, cover, and refrigerate for 4 hours to overnight.
Prep the Grill: Preheat to medium heat, oil grates to prevent sticking.
Grill the Chicken: Grill 6-8 minutes per side until golden and caramelized.
Garnish and Serve: Transfer chicken to a plate, and top with sliced green onions and sesame seeds.
Notes
Use fresh pineapple juice with high acidity for best flavor penetration.
For gluten-sensitive diets, use tamari instead of soy sauce.
Reserve ¼ cup marinade to brush on chicken during grilling (do not reuse marinade from raw chicken contact).
Let chicken rest 5 minutes after grilling for optimal juice retention.
Can be served with rice, tropical salad, or Hawaiian-themed side dishes.
