  • Author: Savannah
  • Total Time: 15
  • Yield: 4 servings
  • Diet: Vegetarian (with tofu substitute) or regular

Description

An elegant and easy-to-make fusion dish inspired by Italian and sushi styles. Thinly sliced prosciutto and salami are layered with fresh greens, creamy burrata, sun-dried tomatoes, and a balsamic glaze drizzle for a vibrant, crowd-pleasing appetizer.

Ingredients

Prosciutto, 4 oz, use thin slices (substitute with Marinated Tofu)
Italian Salami, 4 oz, choose mild „sweet“ salami
Basil Leaves, 1 cup, fresh is ideal
Arugula or Spinach, 2 cups, Arugula adds peppery kick
Burrata, 8 oz, substitute with Feta if unavailable
Sun-Dried Tomatoes, 1/2 cup, drained in oil
Extra virgin olive oil, 2 tbsp
Balsamic glaze, 1 tbsp

Instructions

Wash basil and arugula. Dice burrata gently to avoid breaking centers.
Overlap prosciutto and salami like sushi rolls. Place greens over top.
Tear burrata, toss with salt, pepper, and oregano. Arrange in center.
Drizzle 2 tbsp olive oil and 1 tbsp balsamic glaze over the platter.

Notes

Use room-temperature basil for vibrant color and aroma
Balance salty prosciutto with balsamic glaze
Opt for „Aged Prosciutto” for deeper flavor
Chill platter after assembly for at least 1 hour for best results
