Ingredients
4 cups mixed blueberries, blackberries, and raspberries
1 tbsp fresh lemon juice
1 cup (120g) all-purpose flour
1 cup (200g) granulated sugar
1 large egg (room temperature)
6 tbsp (85g) cold butter, pre-sliced
Instructions
Preheat oven to 375°F
Toss berries with lemon juice in a 9×9-inch baking dish
In a bowl, whisk flour, sugar, and egg until crumbly
Press dry batter evenly over berries
Slice cold butter pieces across the batter
Use crumpled parchment to press butter slices evenly
Bake 45–50 minutes until golden
Cool 10 minutes before serving

Adjust sugar to fruit sweetness
Cold butter ensures optimal melt
