Ingredients
2 cans (15 oz each) peach slices with juice
1 can (21 oz) peach pie filling
1 box (15 oz) yellow cake mix
1 cup rolled oats
0.5 cup chopped pecans
0.5 cup brown sugar
0.5 cup unsalted butter, sliced into thin pats
Instructions
Preheat your oven to 350 degrees F and grease a 9×13-inch baking pan.
Pour both cans of peach slices with their juice into the pan and spread evenly.
Spread the peach pie filling over the peach slices.
Evenly sprinkle the dry yellow cake mix over the fruit layer.
In a bowl, mix the rolled oats, chopped pecans, and brown sugar.
Sprinkle the oat mixture over the cake mix layer.
Top with the thin pats of unsalted butter, covering as much surface area as possible.
Bake for 45 minutes or until the topping is golden and the fruit is bubbling.
Let cool slightly before serving.
Notes
Ensure you keep the juice from the canned peaches as it provides the necessary moisture to hydrate the dry cake mix base. You can swap pecans for walnuts if preferred. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
