Ingredients
2 cups all-purpose flour
1 cup granulated sugar
1 cup light brown sugar
1 tsp baking soda

Whisk together the flour, granulated sugar, brown sugar, baking soda, and salt in a large bowl.
In a saucepan, combine the butter, creamy peanut butter, vegetable oil, and water. Bring to a boil over medium heat.
Pour the boiling mixture over the dry ingredients and whisk until smooth.
Add the eggs, buttermilk, and vanilla extract, whisking until the batter is well-combined and glossy.
Pour the batter into the prepared pan.
Bake for 30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
Allow to cool completely before frosting or serving.
Notes
Ensure your peanut butter is a standard creamy variety that does not separate, as natural versions can alter the texture. The cake can be stored in an airtight container at room temperature for up to three days.
