  • Author: Savannah
  • Total Time: 25
  • Yield: 4 to 6 servings

Description

Recreate Philadelphia’s iconic sandwich in bite-sized form with tender beef, melty cheese, and colorful vegetables on mini buns. Perfect for quick meals or gatherings.

Ingredients

Thinly sliced ribeye or sirloin steak, 1 pound
Olive oil, 1 tablespoon
Salt, to taste
Black pepper, to taste
Small onion, 1
Green bell pepper, 1 small
Yellow bell pepper, 1 small
Provolone cheese slices, 8
Slider buns, 8

Instructions

Preheat a skillet over medium-high heat and add olive oil.
Add thinly sliced steak to the skillet and sauté for 2-3 minutes until browned and just cooked through. Season with salt and pepper.
Add chopped red onion, green bell pepper, and yellow bell pepper to the skillet. Cook for 4-5 minutes until softened.
Lay 1 cheese slice over the steak and vegetable mixture in the skillet. Allow the cheese to fully melt, about 1-2 minutes.
Warm slider buns in a toaster or oven.
Assemble sliders by placing the beef, cheese, and vegetable mixture on each bun. Serve hot.

Notes

Use red onion for a slightly sweeter and milder flavor.
Provolone cheese is ideal, but cheddar or mozzarella can be substituted.
Feel free to add more cheese for a gooey texture or swap vegetables based on preference.
Leftover sliders can be stored in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 2 days.
