Ingredients
1 3/4 cups all-purpose flour
1 tsp baking soda
2 tsp ground cinnamon
1/4 tsp ground nutmeg
1/4 tsp ground cloves
1/4 tsp ground ginger
3/4 tsp salt
2 large eggs
1/2 cup granulated sugar
3/4 cup brown sugar
1 1/2 cups pumpkin puree
1/2 cup vegetable oil
1/4 cup orange juice
2/3 cup chocolate chips
Instructions
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C)
Line a 9×5-inch loaf pan with parchment paper
In a large bowl, mix dry ingredients (flour, baking soda, spices, salt)
Whisk eggs, sugars, pumpkin puree, oil, and orange juice in a separate bowl
Combine wet and dry mixtures gently until smooth
Fold in chocolate chips
Pour batter into prepared pan
Bake for 60-65 minutes until toothpick comes out clean
Cool in pan 10 minutes before slicing
Notes
Use 100% pumpkin puree (5 oz can plus 1/2 cup puree for total 1 1/2 cups)
Swap orange juice with apple cider vinegar for non-citrus option
Chocolate chips can be halved for more intensity
Store in airtight container for up to 5 days
