Description

Indulge in the perfect autumn treat with these decadent pumpkin brownies. This recipe pairs a fudgy, chewy chocolate base with a spiced, creamy pumpkin cheesecake swirl. It is an incredibly easy, one-pot style dessert that uses a convenient box mix as a base, ensuring professional, bakery-quality results in less than an hour. Perfect for busy weeknights, holiday gatherings, or whenever you crave a sophisticated, family-friendly dessert that perfectly balances rich chocolate and warm seasonal spices.

Ingredients

Scale

4 oz Cream Cheese, softened
2/3 cup Pumpkin Puree (100% pure)
3 Large Eggs
1/4 cup Granulated Sugar
1 1/2 tsp Pumpkin Pie Spice
1 tsp Ground Cinnamon
1/2 tsp Kosher Salt
18.3 oz Fudge Brownie Mix
1/2 cup Vegetable Oil
3 tbsp Water

Instructions

Preheat your oven to 350°F and grease an 8×8-inch baking pan.
Line the pan with parchment paper for easy removal.
In a medium bowl, beat together the cream cheese, pumpkin puree, one egg, sugar, pumpkin spice, cinnamon, and salt until smooth.
In a separate large bowl, prepare the brownie mix according to the box instructions using the remaining eggs, oil, and water.
Pour about two-thirds of the brownie batter into the prepared baking pan and spread it evenly.
Pour the pumpkin cream cheese mixture over the brownie layer.
Dollop the remaining brownie batter over the pumpkin layer.
Use a butter knife or skewer to gently swirl the batters together to create a marble effect.
Bake for 40 minutes or until the center is set.
Allow to cool completely before slicing and serving.

Notes

Ensure the cream cheese is at room temperature to prevent lumps in the pumpkin layer. Use 100% pure pumpkin puree rather than pumpkin pie filling to avoid added sugar and thickeners. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
