1 egg
1 egg yolk


Instructions

Prepare strawberries by spreading on parchment-lined baking sheet and freezing 45 minutes
In a bowl, combine frozen strawberries with cornstarch and sugar
In another bowl, whisk warm milk with yeast and sugar; let rest 2 minutes
Blend in egg, egg yolk, and melted butter, mixing until smooth
Gradually add flour and salt, kneading for 8-10 minutes
Let dough rise in warm place until doubled (1 hour)
Roll dough to 10×14-inch rectangle with 1-inch margin on one short side
Dampen top layer edge, spread strawberry mixture, and dot with butter
Roll dough tightly from floured side, cut into 9 equal slices with dental floss
Second rise 20-30 minutes, then bake at 375°F (190°C) for 30 minutes
Let cool 15 minutes, frost with cream cheese glaze, and serve
